it doesn't even look like fanart, this is incredible, after i have been doing a few digital pieces i have gained a lot of respect for the form, and what you pulled off here is top notch.

Thank you so much! ^o^ It took many, MANY years to get used to the programming, because I had no idea how to use any of it. I learnt through doing and eventually figured out how to develop a style in the digital format ^-^
The same works the other way. I have major respect to traditional artists, who are able to capture shadows and atmosphere so beautifully without obvious marks or ink running or paint bleeding! o.o
such a cool artist I enjoyed looking through you're gallery
Thank you so much! It's really cool that you looked at my profile. I enjoyed a lot of your artwork too!

I happy to hear that! It was originally a gift for a girl on her 18 birthday :D
cool dude :)
Thanks man, I'm still new to digital painting. I need to learn how to do shade and screen tone properly or else each illustration will feel hollow for not having any tint and value.

oh damn, this is imposing, I love how artsy it looks, not seen you use hatch work much, but it fits the horror vibe perfectly. I use hatch work with 90% of my drawings but with traditional it all kinda gets hidden in the colours and shading lol, ONE tip is never do + patterns because the lines don't blend together as well as x....but mainly you just want to use lines, the only time you really cross lines is when you doing a really dark area of the body or environment, hope this helps in some way, but as i said i think the aggressive crosshatching goes perfectly with a powerful unstable character like jason.
Thanks for the advice! And yeah, I wanna start using cross hatching more. but so far I'm only really used to my usual kind of pseudo painterly style and it's hard to readjust lol
Either way, glad you like it!
